Has the recent pandemic related to the Coronavirus made managing anxiety difficult?

Many are struggling to find balance and control of anxiety due to the constant barrage of news updates. This constant news coverage is feeding our anxiety and many aren’t sure how to handle it.

In this video I address how to manage anxiety and find ways to ease your anxiety and regain control during this time of uncertainty.

It’s very important to keep your routines as normal as possible.

  • Make sure not to isolate yourself…even if you have to avoid crowds.
  • Reach out to family and friends, even if through the phone.
  • Focus on self care and make sure you are eating and sleeping well.
  • Use guided meditations to help you relax and rest.
  • Avoid junk food and coffee and try to get exercise daily.
  • Limit watching the news or surfing the internet.
  • Step away from all news by taking a break.
  • Stay healthy and well.
  • Reach out to a trained mental health professional if you continue to struggle with managing your anxiety.
