Our environments are full of toxic chemicals, from the air we breathe to the water we drink.  Given the negative impact to our mental and physical health, what steps can we take to reduce our load and protect ourselves?

Rebecca Faulkner a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner is joining me to break down what toxins we need to be aware of and the steps we can take to reduce our exposure and toxic load.

Because of her passion for health and wellness, Rebecca’s clinical philosophy is focused on treating her patients holistically. Therefore, she includes nutrition and wellness strategies in the patient’s treatment plan to promote optimal mental health.

Rebecca opened her virtual nutritional psychiatric and group coaching practice in April 2021.  Her focus is on addressing root causes such as gut health, nutrition tune-ups, reducing environmental toxins, stress management, sleep, stabilize blood sugar, and so much more. Most of all, her goal is to make healthy lifestyle habits sustainable and “deliciously doable”.

In this episode Rebecca answers the following questions:

 ·     How to reduce your toxic load?

·     Should you detox or cleanse?

·     What are binders and how to use them?

·     Could sauna’s help?

·     What are marine phytoplankton’s and modified citrus Pectin?

·     Do you need magnesium and how can Epsom salt baths help?

·     Plus so much more!
