There are so many ways that we can spread kindness in the world, but it’s even more fulfilling when that positive impact is related to something you’re passionate about.

Amy McLaren, a mom of 2, CEO and entrepreneur, and now best selling author has turned her passion for travel and teaching to building over 14 schools in Kenya and now working on school #15, which will be an all girl school.

A simple night in with her husband, watching an Oprah episode, led to a journey of following her passion and making a major impact on the lives of children in Kenya.

Amy’s passion led her to building schools but you don’t have to take on such a major project in order to make an impact.

“No impact is too big or too small” ~Amy McLaren

You can make an impact through simple every day acts of giving from a place of love and joy instead of obligation.   Whether that’s volunteering at a soup kitchen or giving in charity to local organizations, spread the love out of what you’re good at.

“Having an impact isn’t just about writing a check.  Having an impact is about leaving your legacy”
